समाधानपथे यस्तु
पदं नैव प्रयच्छति ।
स एवाज्ञानतिमिरे
वर्तते नात्र संशयः ॥
సమాధానపథే యస్తు
పదం నైవ ప్రయచ్ఛతి ।
స ఏవాజ్ఞానతిమిరే
వర్తతే నాత్ర సంశయః ॥
He who does not even place a step on the path of resolution — he indeed dwells in the darkness of ignorance; there is no doubt about this.
आत्मज्योतिरन्यन्नास्ति
स्वयमात्मानमुद्धरेत् ।
स्वबोधदीपमादाय
स्वयमेव तमो हरेत् ॥
ఆత్మజ్యోతిరన్యన్నాస్తి
స్వయమాత్మానముద్ధరేత్ ।
స్వబోధదీపమాదాయ
స్వయమేవ తమో హరేత్ ॥
There is nothing other than the light of the Self. One should uplift oneself by oneself. Taking up the lamp of self-knowledge, one should oneself dispel the darkness.
