శంభూకవత్

 

शम्भूकवत्पूर्वपरं वहन् यः अधोदृशा मन्दगत्या प्रयाति।

स नोत्तरीतुं शक्नोति भविष्यं, शम्भूकवद्विश्रान्तिर्नरस्य शापः ॥ १ ॥

तस्मात्पूर्वं परित्यज्य, कोशं छित्त्वा पतङ्गवत्।

उत्थाय गगने डीत्वा,पश्येद्भविष्यदुज्ज्वलम् ॥ २ ॥

శంభూకవత్ పూర్వపరం వహన్ యః అధోదృశా మందగత్యా ప్రయాతి ।

స నోత్తరీతుం శక్నోతి భవిష్యం, శంభూకవద్ విశ్రాంతిర్నరస్య శాపః ॥ 1 ॥

తస్మాత్పూర్వం పరిత్యజ్య, కోశం ఛిత్త్వా పతంగవత్ ।

ఉత్థాయ గగనే డీత్వా, పశ్యేద్భవిష్యదుజ్జ్వలమ్ ॥ 2 ॥

Verse 1:

He who, like a snail, carries the burden of the past upon himself and walks with lowered eyes and slow steps can never lift his head to see the future. Stagnation like that of a snail might be rest for it, but for a human, it is a curse.

Verse 2:

Therefore, abandon the past. Break open the cocoon like a butterfly, soar into the sky, and behold the radiant future!
