"In the open sky of the heart, pay no heed to the wandering clouds of sorrow, nor let your spirit feel the slightest gloom. For without words, the trembling of the lower lip speaks volumes, as the tear-drops reveal themselves freed at last from the bonds of restraint.

With a cooled, tranquil mind, behold once more the radiant jewel-lamp of the soul shining brightly within this worldly abode. Through steadfast courage, you shall conquer the very crown of sorrow, and illumined by pure inner wisdom, remain forever serene and radiant."

Death is not to be lightly reckoned

mṛtyurno laghuvijñeyaḥ hṛtkampāśrupayonidhiḥ |
nṝṇāṃ tathāpi sambandhaḥ smṛtyā naivāvasīdati ||

Death is not to be lightly reckoned — it is an ocean of heart-tremors and tears for humankind. Yet even so, the bond [between souls] never perishes through memory.
