Bursting forth from the pillar like lightning, terrifying with a mane of flame, skilled in tearing open Hiraṇyakaśipu's chest — I meditate on that Lord.
Dark and cool as a blue-lotus petal, bathed in the nectar of Lakṣmī's smile — as if it were quenching His own fire of wrath — I bow to that gentle Lion-Lord.
May that divine pair, Lakṣmī and Narasiṁha, protect us with Their compassionate glance. May those two oceans of grace ever bestow upon us peace, happiness, and prosperity.
O Lord Narasiṁha, tearing apart the demon within us — that Hiraṇyakaśipu made of wrath and ego — grant us the very nature of Prahlāda (steadfast, fearless devotion).
O Lord, like Prahlāda, I ever take refuge at Your lotus feet. Casting aside fear and delusion, O Acyuta, be my refuge.
