✨ Emergence from the Stambha
निर्जीवस्तम्भमध्यात्
विद्युद्भानुरिवोत्थितः ।
नृसिंहो गर्जितेनैव
जगदाधारमाकुलयत् ॥
నిర్జీవస్తంభమధ్యాత్
విద్యుద్భాను ఇవోత్థితః ।
నృసింహో గర్జితేనైవ
జగదాధారమాకులయత్ ॥
From the lifeless pillar He arose like a blazing thunderbolt.
With His roar, Narasimha shook the very foundation of the universe.
✨Breaking Hiranyakashipu’s Tyranny
नवग्रहान् जगद्व्याप्तं
हिरण्याक्षिपुरं बलात् ।
स्तम्भे प्रादुरभूत् देवः
नृसिंहो लोकपालकः ॥
నవగ్రహాన్ జగద్వ్యాప్తం
హిరణ్యాక్షిపురం బలాత్ ।
స్తంభే ప్రాదురభూత్ దేవః
నృసింహో లోకపాలకః ॥
When Hiranyakashipu sought to bind the navagrahas and the worlds,
Narasimha burst forth from the pillar as the guardian of creation.
✨ Prahlāda and Dharma
प्रह्लादरक्षणे नूनं
न केवलं फलप्रदः ।
विश्वत्राणाय संजातः
धर्मसंरक्षणाय च ॥
ప్రహ్లాదరక్షణే నూనం
న కేవలం ఫలప్రదః ।
విశ్వత్రాణాయ సంజాతః
ధర్మసంరక్షణాయ చ ॥
His avatāra was not merely for Prahlāda’s deliverance.
He came forth to protect the entire cosmos and to uphold dharma.
