मरकतमण्यात्मलिङ्गध्यानम्
Meditation on the Emerald Ātmaliṅga
मरकतमणिकान्तिम् आत्मलिङ्गस्वरूपिणम् ।
अरिषड्वर्गसर्पौघैः छत्रीभूतैर्वृतं शिवम् ॥
कालघण्टापदन्यस्तं निर्मलाकारमद्भुतम् ।
सच्चिदानन्दसम्पूर्णं वन्दे तं पन्नगेश्वरम् ॥
न ह्यरिषड्वर्गा हन्तुं शक्याः कदाचन ।
यस्तान् वशीकरोत्येव महादेवः स उच्यते ॥
మరకతమణికాంతిమ్ ఆత్మలింగస్వరూపిణమ్ ।
అరిషడ్వర్గసర్పౌఘైః ఛత్రీభూతైర్వృతం శివమ్ ॥
కాలఘంటాపదన్యస్తం నిర్మలాకారమద్భుతమ్ ।
సచ్చిదానందసంపూర్ణం వందే తం పన్నగేశ్వరం ॥
న హ్యరిషడ్వర్గా హంతుం శక్యాః కదాచన ।
యస్తాన్ వశీకరోత్యేవ మహాదేవః స ఉచ్యతే ॥
I bow to Lord Pannageśvara (Śiva), whose essential nature is the Ātmaliṅga, radiant with the lustre of an emerald gem.
The multitude of serpent-like Ariṣaḍvargas—Kāma (desire), Krodha (anger), Lobha (greed), Moha (delusion), Mada (pride), and Mātsarya (jealousy)—having been completely mastered, no longer remain hostile. Instead, they are transformed into a protective canopy, symbolising perfect self-mastery.
Established upon the pedestal of Time (Kāla), yet ever pure, unchanging, and wondrous, He is the embodiment of Sat (Absolute Existence), Cit (Pure Consciousness), and Ānanda (Supreme Bliss).
To that all-pervading Pannageśvara, the Supreme Śiva, I offer my reverential salutations.
