హనూమత్‌ప్రపత్తిః – అంతర్లంకాదహనరూపకం

 

हनूमत्प्रपत्तिः – अन्तर्लङ्कादहनरूपकम्

दुर्भेद्यो लङ्किको देहः रावणाद्यरिभिर्वृतः ।
हनूमतः पदं प्राप्य दह्यन्तेऽन्तर्महारयः ॥

शोकाटव्यां भ्रमन्मनो मोहदुःखसमाकुलम् ।
अशोकवनतां नीत्वा भक्तिवीर्यं विवर्धयेत् ॥

एवं देहगृहे लङ्का मनोरण्ये च राक्षसाः ।
हनूमद्भक्तितो दग्धाः शान्तिं यान्ति सदाशयाः ॥

హనూమత్‌ప్రపత్తిః – అంతర్లంకాదహనరూపకం

దుర్భేద్యో లంకికో దేహః రావణాద్యరిభిర్వృతః ।
హనూమతః పదం ప్రాప్య దహ్యంతేఽంతర్మహారయః ॥

శోకాటవ్యాం భ్రమన్మనో మోహదుఃఖసమాకులమ్ ।
అశోకవనతాం నీత్వా భక్తివీర్యం వివర్ధయేత్ ॥

ఏవం దేహగృహే లంకా మనోరణ్యే చ రాక్షసాః ।
హనూమద్భక్తితో దగ్ధాః శాంతిం యాంతి సదాశయాః ॥

Śloka 1: This body is itself like the impregnable city of Lanka, surrounded by formidable inner enemies symbolised by Ravana and his demonic hosts — lust, anger, greed, delusion, pride, and countless other impurities. Having attained the holy feet of Hanuman, these mighty inner enemies are consumed, just as Lanka itself was consumed in fire.

Śloka 2: The mind, wandering through the dense forest of sorrow, overwhelmed by delusion, grief, and ceaseless anxiety, is transformed by Hanuman's grace into an Aśoka Grove — a realm free from sorrow, radiant with devotion and inner strength.

Śloka 3: Thus it is: the body itself is Laṅkā's fortress, and the mind its own wilderness harbouring rākṣasas of passion and delusion. Through devotion to Hanuman these are burnt away, and those whose intent is settled and true come, at last, to peace.
